          Surat Thani Vocational College is located in the downtown of Surat Thani facing Talad-mai  Road. Business workplaces as well as small shops, convenience stores and stalks are scattered along the road. There are major provincial temples, for instance, Traithammaram Temple, Thammapucha Temple, Pho Nimit Temple and so on. Provincial secondary school is namely as Suratpittaya School and Thepmitrsuksa school. Thaksin Hospital is facilitated and serviced across from the college. In addition, Kasikorn Bank and Krung Thai Bank are very close to it.
